Our neighborhood friend, Ann Terlizzi (who is always full of creative ideas!) is hosting a “Peacock Trot” adoption fundraiser for us on Thanksgiving morning in lieu of the traditional Twin Cities “Turkey Trot.” And just to avoid any confusion … no, we aren’t eating peacock for Thanksgiving this year; the peacock is the national bird of India.
If you’re in town for Thanksgiving and would like to burn off a few of the extra calories you’ll be consuming throughout the day, please join us at 9:00 am on the West River Parkway for a just-shy-of-5k run/walk.
